Assessments

An “assessment” is a review of a workplace or organization to address simmering concerns or issues with culture or morale in a proactive way.

When done well, an “assessment” can make employees feel heard and, with the implementation of the right recommendations, can head-off the need for an investigation down the road.

An “assessment” may be useful to address the following:

  • Simmering concerns in the workplace (where there is no complaint)

  • Low morale

  • Issues with workplace culture

  • High turnover

  • Concerns with the distribution of work and access to opportunities

  • Communication issues

  • Application of internal policies and process

  • Concerns arising from a 360-degree review, an internal culture review or exit interview(s)

Other

In addition to investigations and assessments, Megan is pleased to offer the following:

  • Policy and process reviews (e.g. of harassment and human rights-related policies)

  • Training (on investigations, assessments, human rights and respectful workplaces)

  • Investigation support (where internal investigators need a little guidance)

  • Threshold Assessments (to determine whether the obligation to investigate is triggered)
