Assessments
An “assessment” is a review of a workplace or organization to address simmering concerns or issues with culture or morale in a proactive way.
When done well, an “assessment” can make employees feel heard and, with the implementation of the right recommendations, can head-off the need for an investigation down the road.
An “assessment” may be useful to address the following:
Simmering concerns in the workplace (where there is no complaint)
Low morale
Issues with workplace culture
High turnover
Concerns with the distribution of work and access to opportunities
Communication issues
Application of internal policies and process
Concerns arising from a 360-degree review, an internal culture review or exit interview(s)
Other
In addition to investigations and assessments, Megan is pleased to offer the following:
Policy and process reviews (e.g. of harassment and human rights-related policies)
Training (on investigations, assessments, human rights and respectful workplaces)
Investigation support (where internal investigators need a little guidance)
Threshold Assessments (to determine whether the obligation to investigate is triggered)
